An Electrical Installation Condition Report? An EICR is a “MOT” like report of how your electrical system is.
The current BS7671:2018 Amendment 1 recommends for good reason that a home owner requests for an EICR to be preformed no longer than 10 Years since the last report. Leased Properties every every 5 years and every new tenant should your insurance company request you to do so.
An EICR will provide you with peace of mind that your electrical system is compliant with the current regulations and therefore limiting the risk of any potential problems.
